Overview

The Flexible Capital Platform^® API helps your customers leverage the power of their balance sheets and unlock liquidity without selling securities to access funds when they need them. The API provides access to rate information that can be used to illustrate different lending options and streamline the online experience for establishing a Flexible Capital Line of Credit^®.

Example use case

Obtain rate estimates and initiate the Flexible Capital Line of Credit^® loan application.

A client wants to make a large purchase but doesn’t want to liquidate their investment portfolio to fund the purchase because it’s inconvenient and may present tax implications. The Flexible Capital Platform^® API lets you evaluate the client’s borrowing power of their assets and calculate an estimate for a Flexible Capital Line of Credit^® that can be used to make the purchase. You can also initiate the application process and prefill the client’s loan application to help simplify the application process.

U.S. Bank Flexible Capital Line of Credit^®: Loan approval is subject to credit approval and program guidelines. Not all loan programs are available in all states for all loan amounts.
