### Update employee records and company cards in one step.

An employee recently left the company and had a purchasing card. The Human Resources (HR) manager uses the HR management system to cancel the card. Since the HR system is fully integrated with the Corporate Credit Cards API, the manager can directly update corporate card accounts and efficiently close the account when they update the employee record.

### Modify credit limits and other controls by using one system.

A manager was promoted and given a new role and responsibilities. Their corporate card credit limit, single purchase limit and additional spending controls needed to be updated. The employer relied upon their enterprise resource planning (ERP) system for employee records management. Once the ERP system was integrated with the Corporate Credit Cards API, the corporate card program administrator can promptly modify the credit limit, single-purchase limit and additional spending controls accordingly, without logging into a secondary system.

### Receive automatic notifications when cards are issued.

A new salesperson will be traveling for work and needs a corporate travel card for expenses. The corporate card program administrator enters the card information into the company’s ERP system, which submits the card request through the Corporate Credit Cards API. The administrator receives confirmation that the request was successfully submitted and will receive another notification once the card has been issued, eliminating the need to monitor the status of the request.

Integration requires a card program for Corporate Travel, One Card or Purchasing Card, limited to Visa® or Mastercard® networks.

These programs provide organizations with real-time access to effectively manage their credit card programs anywhere, anytime within a secure environment. They are accessible via web portal, mobile app and APIs.

  * Status (active, temporary suspension, closed, and so on)

  * Authorization limits

  * Credit limit

  * Single purchase limit

  * Amount and number of purchases within a period
