### Process claim payments.
A claims manager at a national insurance company routinely issues claim payments. The company’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) system needs to follow the new NACHA rule, which requires large non-FI ACH originators, third-party service providers and third-party senders to protect deposit account information by rendering it unreadable when stored electronically.
The Payee Token+ API enables the company’s ERP system to tokenize payee deposit account information to follow the new NACHA rule. The manager enters the customer’s account and routing numbers and the validation is completed seamlessly before tokenizing, ensuring the funds are received by the intended customer.
Using the Tokenized Payments bundle, the claims manager can now originate the claim payments via ACH simply by sending the claimant’s tokens to the bank to process the claim payments.

### Process payments to college students.
An accountant who works for a university is responsible for disbursing student payments on a monthly or quarterly basis. The university holds receivables and payables accounts at U.S Bank, and the university’s software is integrated with U.S Bank APIs.
With Tokenized Payments, the accountant can pull a student’s account details in the form of tokens, which are validated and stored securely at the bank. The accountant may initiate fund transfers to students, eliminating the need to store each student’s bank details or use micro deposits to validate account ownership

Example use cases

Payee Token+ API would have its own API Keys due to the PCI compliance infrastructure. One set of API keys can be leveraged for the Account Validation and ACH Originations APIs.

* Retrieve ACH transaction details and cancel a transaction.
